How do we get the Copper?

Circuit boards have multiple layers of copper and fiberglass. By carefully removing the top colored layer, the underlying copper is revealed. We polish it to a shine and enhance it with resin.

Note about Copper + allergies

If you are not comfortable wearing copper earwires, we can switch them out for a hypoallergenic option: a copper-colored niobium fishhook wire. If you’d like this option, just leave a note in the text box at checkout.

Design

We usea computer controlled cutting machine to preciselycut the circuit board.Since we work with recycled circuit boards, every piece will be a little bit different. Therefore, the item you receive will be similar in scope to what’s shown in the photos, but circuit board positioning/pattern will vary.
